I believe this American brewery doesn’t need an intro anymore.

With awesome beers such as the CBS, KBS, Frangelic Mountain Brown, Breakfast Stout, Green Zebra and many more, they can no longer be ignored in the beer world.

After their Dirty Bastard, also the Backwoods Bastard, which looks a bit like a mixture between Gandalf and Gimli from Lord of the Rings …

Anyway, another beautiful version from 2020, matured in oak Bourbon barrels.

The result is a dark barrel-aged beer.

Moderately sweet with a warm, woody taste in combination with roasted malts, caramel and dark fruits.

The barrel aging comes through nicely.

Very tasty!
