The difference is that with this beer, the base beer Sans Pardon has been in fresh wooden barrels for a while.

So Barrel Aged? In a sense yes, but definitely in ‘unused’ barrels.

As a result, the woody touch certainly comes to the fore in this beer.

A full Russian Imperial Stout with the recognizable taste of roasted malts in combination with a coffee bitter aftertaste.
